Final Report Aqua-therm Nitra 2000
The second
annual international trade fair for heating technology, air-conditioning, sanitary,
environment protection technology, measurement and regulation AQUA-THERM, which was held
in Nitra from 2nd to 5th May 2000, showed that trade fairs of such a focus have a future
in Slovakia. In comparison with last year’s inaugural fair, there was an increase in
both the number of exhibitors and the exhibition area covered. Despite the fact that fewer
visitors came to the fair, the exhibitors were satisfied because the trade fair was
visited primarily by specialists and traders.
The importance of the event was also underlined by the
accompanying specialist programme which was ensured by the specialist guarantors - Slovak
Society of Environmental Technology and Slovak Energy Agency. This year it concentrated
primarily on the preparation and distribution of domestic hot water, the financing of
energy-saving projects and trends in air-conditioning.This year and last year the four
best exhibits received gold medals of the trade fair and another four were awarded
certificates of merit. The awards are made by an expert committee made up of leading
Slovak experts.
